The worst customer service ever!!!! I called in Thursday 48 hours to place an order for a medium size cake for pickup on Saturday, the young lady who took the order took my name down, and provided me with a price. Saturday I arrive at Ray’s cake to pick up the cake order and there was no record of me placing an order. They are unprofessional and didn’t even try to accommodate me after telling and trying to show her I had phone record showing I called Rays Cake that Thursday having a two minute conversation. Customer service goes a long way and Rays cakes lacks that.

I got my Rum cupcakes from there; very moist and a nice taste of the rum without over powering the cup cake itself. Friendly service on site and are efficient with getting orders done in a timely manner.
Honestly, the cake itself would 5 stars, but I’ve had something that came and started calling since Friday because I needed that cake for Monday, but since they close Monday I was trying to call to make payment over the phone because I’m arriving to Miami on Monday, so I wasn’t able to go over the place to place the order. The machine keeps answering the phone. Best cake ever but not as much convenient. They need to do better. And honestly I’ll always buy cake from them because I don’t know any other places that sales the best.
I called to make an order and was given two different information upon making clear directions of what was wanted on my cake I was told it can be done, after making my payment I was then told its a possibility that what I wanted cannot be done. The person I spoke to claimed that her name was Rosie, well if was Rosie you were very unprofessional to someone who was paying their hard earned money to support your business just know I will never order or recommend anyone to your place of business. I really hope Management find a way to correct this issue because whomever you have answering your phone sucks!
I love their cakes! I've been buying for years. However, as the business grows and most importantly surviving the pandemic it's customer base expects more. The presentation of the place needs to be elevated to the level of their product. The feel of the place is important. Hope you all take this positively.
The rum cakes are like no other. They are delicious and moist. Now on to the customer service, they are HORRIBLE. They don't answer the phones, they close before time, and it's a different story every single time. They must do better! Hire and train the right individuals. Do something but don't continue like this. As fast as you grew will be how fast you fall.
Best rum cake I have ever tasted. Moist and delicious! even with it being in the fridge for a couple days it still taste great. Im not sure how customer service is as someone got this cake for me, so 5 stars is for the taste of the cake.
